My wife has an optimum temperature range of about three and a half degrees. She is comfortable only if the external temperature is somewhere between 21 and 25 degrees Celsius. Anything lower and she will complain that it’s too cold; anything above she will complain it’s too hot. Nearly every day I am subject to concerns about the weather. Quite frequently the criticism is contradictory within a several hour period – the change from afternoon sun to early evening is just never satisfying. After a little research and a complete reconstruction of my life we moved to the small city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Canary Islands. The temperature varies only slightly year-round. At first my wife’s complaints ceased completely; however, we have now been here for over two months and her optimum temperature range has decreased to about a degree and a half. Anything outside of the 23 degree bracket is now cause for complaint.
