I’ve been out just about every weekend for the last ten years. I like to convince myself otherwise but my main incentive is to meet girls. I must’ve wasted hundreds of hours talking to them, spent thousands of dollars buying them drinks, and lied to them countless times about my profession and lifestyle. Essentially I've pick up about twelve times. I know that times have changed and males and females are now sitting on a reasonably level playing field; however, this doesn’t seem to be reflected in the night scene. I think perhaps previous generations enjoyed a fairer overall equilibrium. Guys spent their time, money, and effort obtaining a wife; she in turn looked after the home and reared the children. There was at least a trade-off.
