I ran into Megan Fox at an LAX Starbucks the other day. She was a lot nicer than I expected. I offered to buy her a coffee and she insisted on getting the bill – It was kind of fair in a way; as a well-known Hollywood actress she obviously earns more than I do.
“I really respect your work,” I said, trying to act casual. “Transformers was fantastic.”
“You don’t have to say that,” she said, smiling. “People always talk about how brilliant I am. They forget that I’m just pretending to be someone else. I don’t actually do anything important.”
Somehow the comment made her even more attractive. Unfortunately it caused me to lose respect for everyone in the film industry.
